Taking place from March 13 to March 23, 2025, this unique collaboration showcases “A New Art Experience Illuminating the Future of Bunkamura 2025”, a creative exploration of Shibuya’s vibrant street culture through cutting-edge art installations and performances.

Bunkamura, a landmark cultural facility in Shibuya since its opening in 1989, has been a hub for diverse artistic and cultural events, hosting performances, exhibitions and more. Though currently closed for renovations (except for Orchard Hall), Bunkamura continues to expand its activities and maintain its presence as a cornerstone of Shibuya’s creative scene. This collaboration with Shibuya Fashion Week is a continuation of its commitment to supporting and showcasing art that moves people’s hearts.

Having received high praise for last year’s Shibuya Fashion Week Spring 2024 collaboration, Bunkamura returns with a more evolved and ambitious program, further integrating its artistic vision with the vibrant culture of Shibuya’s streets. By revisiting its roots in Shibuya’s urban landscape, Bunkamura aims to highlight the future of creativity and innovation in the area.

This year’s program, hosted inside the temporarily closed Bunkamura, highlights the spirit of Shibuya’s streetscape—a hub of dynamic trends in art, music and fashion. Featured artists include SIDE CORE, Misa Kono, and Aoi Yamada, who reinterpret the essence of Shibuya through fresh, captivating works.

Dive into this limited-time event featuring interactive exhibits, live performances, and engaging talks, all designed to reimagine Bunkamura’s role as a cultural beacon in Shibuya.

This event is part of the Tokyo Creative Salon 2025, a citywide festival celebrating creativity during cherry blossom season in March.
