Some no Komichi (Fabric-Dyeing Festival) celebrates Tokyo’s long-standing textile traditions with a colorful, hands-on event in the streets of Nakano. Local dyeing workshops open their doors for demonstrations, exhibitions and indigo-tinted installations, giving visitors a chance to explore the craftsmanship behind traditional Japanese fabric dyeing while wandering a neighborhood transformed by shades of blue.
