Step into the world of street art and explore its transformative power at Japan’s largest street art exhibition, “Stream of Banksy Effect: The Evolution and Revolution of Street Art.” This extraordinary showcase features 100 works by 50 artists, including global icons like Banksy, Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat, alongside emerging Japanese artists making waves on the international scene.

Discover the cultural and social impact of street art, which transcends mere artistic expression to redefine how we perceive and interact with urban spaces. Curated by Patrizia Cattaneo Moresi, the exhibition celebrates the evolution of street art and examines its revolutionary influence through the works of groundbreaking artists.

The “Stream of Banksy Effect: The Evolution and Revolution of Street Art” exhibition kicks off with an exciting opening event featuring a live performance of the official theme song “Brother” by Tsuyoshi Domoto (.ENDRECHERI.), alongside a special stencil art demonstration by JIKKENRAT. Visitors can also enjoy live painting sessions by CHOB-ONE on February 1 and 2, and an innovative VR-integrated painting performance by Katsuhiko Hibino on February 11.

Adding to the experience, Italian artist RAUL will create a stunning outdoor installation at Shibuya Stream’s 2F outdoor space. The exhibition also showcases exclusive works that delve into Banksy’s influence on street art, complemented by curated pieces from the 2024 BANKSY & STREET ART (R)EVOLUTION exhibition in Matsuyama.
