Super Diversity Volunteering

May 27, 2023 at 1:45pm ~ May 27, 2023 at 3:00pm

Super Diversity Volunteering is a program running for elementary and junior high school students living in the Aoyama area to interact with the elderly through fun volunteer activities.

Through this program, Hands On Tokyo aims to create a “super-diverse” community where children of all sorts of backgrounds, ethnicities, and physical abilities, can volunteer in their communities and where intergenerational interactions can be encouraged.

During this event, volunteers will have the chance to support elementary and junior high school students in their activities, assist junior leaders, and participate in the craft projects.

This week, they will be having an ‘Enjoy the rainy season’ themed session, making hydrangea crafts with sponge stamps.

*This event will also be held on June 10 and June 24, however the location is TBD
