Tamagawa River Clean Up

Tokyo River Friends is a non-profit organization dedicated to cleaning Tokyo’s rivers. They also holding a special clean-up event along the Tamagawa river. If you’d like to support this cause and make a positive impact on the local ecosystem, come join them at the upcoming Tamagawa River clean up event!

They will clean almost directly under the New Tamagawa Sky Bridge across the river from Haneda Airport. Gather at Kojimashinden Station outside the only ticket gate. Then go to the Tamagawa River and pick up trash along the banks for about about 3.5 to 4 hours.

With regard to bad weather, generally these events will not be cancelled in the case of rain (unless a lot of rain or rain and very cold), but please check Tokyo River Friends website for updates if any doubt on a rain day.
