Two promising new attractions have opened at Sagamiko Pleasure Forest near Lake Sagami an hour west of Tokyo. Tengu Dojo is a combination of ziplines and midair athletic challenges like balance beams, with the longest zipline topping out at 70 meters. The Rittai Meiro Karakuri Toride, or three-dimensional trick fort, is a huge, five-story, 900-square-meter cubic maze that attempts to test your sense of direction and equilibrium while you make your way past ninja towards the goal. Sagami Pleasure Forest will also play host to the Xland music festival on Sep 1.
