The Oak Door in Roppongi (www.tokyo.grand.hyatt.com; 03-4333-8784) is one of Tokyo’s favorite restaurants, thanks to its classy interior, lively bar scene and fantastic steaks cooked in wood-fired ovens. In fact, the only thing that’s missing is brunch. Until now. The Oak Door’s new All-You-Can-Drink Sunday Brunch includes a 90-minute nomihodai of sparkling wine and bloody Marys, accompanied by a sophisticated three-course meal (¥7,500). Diners can choose an appetizer (the list includes bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese; organic granola with yogurt and fresh berries; buttermilk pancakes with mangoes, banana and coconut cream); an entrée (steak and eggs; frittata with spicy sausage and feta cheese; eggs Benedict) and dessert (tropical fruit pavlova; brownie sundae; Mississippi mud pie). Vegetarians are welcome, too: the entrée menu also features a roasted Portobello mushroom sandwich on grilled sourdough with onion jam, spinach and ricotta cheese. Available until August 29.
