Yokohama is celebrating all things Gallic with French Month 2012. As part of the program, French dancer-choreographer Maria-Donata D’Urso will share the stage with Japan’s Bunpei Kunimoto at the city’s atmospheric waterfront Redbrick Warehouse. D’Urso, naked, will transform from animal to human, from unformed to deformed in the Japanese premier of Pezzo 0 (due). Bunpei Kunimoto recently returned from four months in France and will offer the world premier of his solo work Anima!
