New York-based toymaker Kidrobot scored a word-of-mouth hit with its Munny dolls—a line of squat, big-headed figurines that customers are encouraged to decorate and customize. If that sounds like your idea of fun, see if this tickles your fancy: from now until October 14, MoMA Design Store in Omotesando is offering the dolls at a 10 percent discount, and encouraging everyone who buys them to enter a Custom Munny Contest. The winner will net a cool ¥70,000, with ¥10,000 prizes for four runners-up, and the best entries will be displayed in-store for a couple of weeks.
