67th CWAJ Print Show

The College Women’s Association of Japan (CWAJ) will open the 67th CWAJ Print Show on Wednesday, October 16th, 2024 at 11:00 am.

Running through Sunday, October 20th, the show and sale will conclude at 5:00 pm, with an online gallery also available. Art lovers can view and purchase contemporary Japanese print art at the in-person show or through the online gallery.

Now in its 67th year, the CWAJ Print Show offers a prestigious juried exhibition and sale of contemporary Japanese prints. CWAJ showcases a wide range of styles and techniques from both established and emerging artists.

Prices range from ¥3,000 to ¥480,000. This year’s show features 213 beautiful contemporary prints by 213 prominent artists, including 40 new artists.

Net proceeds from the exhibition and sale will fund CWAJ Scholarship and Education Programs.

The 67th Print Show will also feature the annual Hands-on Art exhibit. This is a unique CWAJ program that transcribes prints into touchable images for visually impaired attendees.

Guided tours of a curated selection of twenty prints will be offered in English and Japanese, with this years theme being “The Magic of Print Making.”
