Art Takes Action for the Climate Crisis
Jul 27, 2024 at 1:00pm ~ Jul 27, 2024 at 5:00pm
Arts Initiative Tokyo will be hosting a symposium, “Art Takes Action for the Climate Crisis”, where speeches and panel discussions will highlight the major impact of climate change on our lives. This event offers an educational and productive experience where climate scientists and art professionals will collaborate to inspire artists, museums, galleries and others to become practitioners of climate change action.
Attendees can expect to be inducted on the latest trends in climate crisis action, in Japan and overseas, as well as clarify solutions and challenges on the future of the arts sector. During this experience, speakers hope to promote a collaborative environment using art to expressively target issues on the climate crisis.
Arts Initiative Tokyo offers the opportunity for artists and activists to apply, with applications opening in early June, and gracefully welcomes you as part of a proactive community.
