A limited-time collaboration at Paradise Café brings together the viral characters Opanchu Usagi, Npochamu, and Kimimaro. Expect themed food, desserts, and drinks, plus exclusive novelties and collaboration merchandise.

Who Are Opanchu Usagi, Npochamu and Kimimaro?

Opanchu Usagi – The chaotic little rabbit who shot to viral fame with its tragic-cute antics. Equal parts unlucky and adorable, this pink-cheeked bunny has become a meme star for anyone who loves a mix of slapstick and sweetness.

Npochamu – Officially described as a “yogurt fairy,” this squishy white creature with round eyes and a little blue flower on its head is as weird as it is cute. Its currency of choice is macarons (Npochamu refuses to use Japanese yen). Despite being technically naked, Npochamu wears what look like blue gloves. Npochamu’s companion is Kimimaro, a tiny yellow chick who tags along as its loyal bestie.

Kimimaro – A handsome little yellow chick and the ultimate green flag in mascot form. Calm, kind, and endlessly patient, Kimimaro is the best friend everyone wishes they had — always looking out for Npochamu and loving them unconditionally, no matter how chaotic things get.

Reservations & Visiting Info:

The café operates on an 80-minute time slot system.
Advance reservations are recommended due to limited seating.
Reservations can only be made via the official Sweets Paradise app.
Available from 5 weeks before your desired date until 8 PM the day before.

*Photos are welcome, but please respect other guests’ privacy.
*This is not a Sweets Paradise buffet location.
*The collab café is expected to run for about a year, though the exact closing date and further details are still to be announced.

Takeshi Dylan Sadachi

(佐立武士) Journalist, editor and cultural critic. Born in 1997, Takeshi grew up in Japan and the U.S. After studying at Waseda University, they worked as a journalist and editor for the Japanese edition of WWD. They have also contributed to publications and media in Japan and abroad. After several years in the industry, Takeshi was awarded a fully-funded scholarship from the UK government to pursue research at SOAS University of London, focusing on Japanese queer history and culture. Since returning to Japan in late 2023, they served as an editor at Metropolis, and are currently an editor at Esquire.
