BEATCITY JAPAN 2025 – The Ultimate Beatbox Event in Tokyo

Following the success of BEATCITY JAPAN 2025 PRE, Japan’s premier beatbox event returns with an expanded lineup and new competition categories.
BEATCITY JAPAN 2025 will take place on August 10, 2025, at Zepp Shinjuku, Tokyo, bringing together top beatboxers from Japan and around the world. This event is a gateway to the Grand Beatbox Battle 2025 (GBB25), the world’s most prestigious beatbox championship.
This year introduces new battle categories, including Tag-Team and Loopstation (Supported by BOSS), alongside the established SOLO battle division. Winners will earn a place at GBB25, competing against the best in the world.
Regional Qualifiers
The road to BEATCITY JAPAN 2025 includes seven regional qualifiers across Japan. Top competitors will earn a chance to battle at the final event in Tokyo.
- April 19 – Nagoya (XHALL ZEN)
- April 26 – Sapporo (Bessie Hall)
- May 3 – Fukuoka (LIVE HOUSE Queblick)
- May 6 – Sendai (MACANA)
- May 10 – Hiroshima (SECOND CRUTCH)
- June 7 – Osaka (UMEDA BANGBOO)
- June 14 – Tokyo (Daikanyama UNIT)

Wildcard entries are also open globally, allowing international competitors to qualify online.
