Collection of Works Publishing Memorial Exhibition Etsu Egami “Intersecting Lines”
Dec 05, 2025 at 11:00am ~ Dec 22, 2025 at 9:00pm
Artist Etsu Egami will be holding a new solo exhibition and a commemorative exhibition to celebrate the publication of his collection, “Crossing Lines.”
About the Artist
Etsu Egami is an Artist and a visiting Professor at Kyorin University School of Medicine. He paints on the theme of communication using bold lines and vivid colors reminiscent of calligraphy. He was the youngest artist to be selected as one of FORBES ASIA’s 30 Under 30 Who Will Change the World.
Exhibition Theme
This exhibition will focus on one of Etsu Egami’s most famous portrait series. He depicts philosophers and artists whom Egami respects, and who have brought about innovation in the fields of thought and expression.
Now, as part of a collaborative project with Parco, Egami has created new paintings of nine creators who have colored Parco’s culture. These works represent the communication between Egami and these creators, and also the history of Parco. Portraits of people who have had connections with Egami himself, painted during the same period, are also on display. A space where individuals, history and the present intersect is created.
Don’t miss this opportunity to see the pictorial space created by the multi-layered “intersection” between Etsu Egami and Parco.
