From May 2–6, Azabudai Hills hosts “FAMILY GREEN Atelier: Golden Week Special — 100 Ways to Play and Express Inspired by Nature,” a free, family-friendly event that transforms the Central Plaza into a hands-on world of creativity.

Interactive highlights include a flowing fabric maze, a soft and airy Cloud Atelier beneath the landmark canopy and a sun-and-shadow theater. There are workshops explore sound, storytelling and movement, while guided “green walks” introduce families to the site’s urban biodiversity.

Beyond physical play, the program dives into sensory discovery with workshops dedicated to the five senses. Around the venue, restaurants and kiosks offer limited-edition treats and kid-friendly menus.

Inspired by educator Loris Malaguzzi’s philosophy of “100 languages,” the event encourages children to explore, create and connect with nature in their own way—right in the heart of the city.

While most programs are available, some require same-day booking. The Green Walk (Guided Tours) and hands-on workshops require same-day booking at the reservation desk. However, the FAMILY GREEN Atelier is an open event during the Golden Week.
