Greek Wine Dinner at Tokyo American Club

Feb 17, 2024 at 6:00am ~ Feb 17, 2024 at 9:00pm

Greek wines offer great diversity across varieties, wine regions, and styles.
Wine played an important role in Ancient Greek wine history, culture, and mythology.
The Mediterranean climate and soil types allow for excellent grape growing.
Greek wine regions are known for producing full-bodied red and crisp white wines.
Some key indigenous grapes used are Agiorgitiko, Assyrtiko, Moschofilero, and Xinomavro while international varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay are also popular.
Greek wines provide excellent value, with many high-quality offerings at affordable prices.
