Coexist with Woods – Naruki Takahashi’s Wood Art at TRUNK(LOUNGE)

Experience the artistry of Naruki Takahashi at TRUNK(LOUNGE) in TRUNK(HOTEL) CAT STREET, where his latest exhibition, “Coexist with Woods,” brings nature and craftsmanship into perfect balance.
Until March 15, 2025, explore Takahashi’s striking wood sculptures, each shaped by his deep connection to the forests of Kochi Prefecture. Then, from March 13 to March 15, witness his creative process live as he carves and refines his pieces in an exclusive three-day event inside TRUNK(LOUNGE)’s pop-up space, Room 101. On the final day, March 15, he will collaborate with Hamada Washi, a master of traditional Tosa washi paper-making, blending their crafts into a one-of-a-kind creation.
To mark the occasion, TRUNK(LOUNGE) will offer special seasonal cocktails featuring pomelo from Kochi Prefecture, and guests who purchase from the menu will receive a limited-edition wood-scented sachet, made from Takahashi’s own wood shavings.
