Nerd Nite Tokyo #57: Going Underground
Apr 19, 2024 at 7:30pm ~ Apr 19, 2024 at 10:30pm
Every month, we gather some smart speakers and a curious crowd, add a bar, and create something unique. This month, we’re going underground in search of volcanoes and fossils!
First, University of Tokyo professor Ryuichi Nishiyama will be exploring deep into volcanoes using high-tech muography. Then, University of Tsukuba paleontologist Emma Dangerfield is going to make sure that badgers get some respect.
Drinks (both alcoholic and non) will be available. Drink, meet, and be square-y! Kids are also welcome at Nerd Nite.
You can also find our event information on Facebook and Meetup; check our homepage for all of our social media and mailing lists. Help us promote Nerd Nite by signing up on our event listings and sharing our social media posts!
