Palestine Candlelight Action: “Ceasefire Now” at Zojoji Temple

As an NGO providing humanitarian aid in Palestine, the “Ceasefire Now” Action Executive Committee calls for an immediate ceasefire to protect civilians. On the day, a joint NGO statement will be issued at Jiunkaku, Zojoji Temple, followed by a report session and a candlelight vigil from 6:00 p.m. to honor victims and pray for peace—both are open to all.

People are also invited and encouraged nationwide to light a candle in solidarity with Gaza and share support on social media using the hashtag “Ceasefire Now.”

Request to all participants:
・We are planning to use smartphone lights for the event. We would appreciate it if you could bring one with you.
・For safety reasons, we plan to use LED lights instead of candles that use fire at the venue. There is no need to bring candles.
