Oneohtrix Point Never Japan Tour 2026
Apr 02, 2026 at 6:00pm ~ Apr 02, 2026 at 9:00pm
Daniel Lopatin, aka Oneohtrix Point Never (OPN), has completed his new album, “Tranquilizer,” featuring stunning, ultra-high-resolution soundscapes. With the album’s release fast approaching on November 21st, he’s teamed up again with Freeka Tet, who impressed and shocked audiences with their astonishing puppet show visuals on their previous tour, to perform their latest live set in Japan. OPN and Freeka Tet have created an audiovisual live show where reality and fantasy expand and intertwine. A beautiful worldview beyond imagination, this is an overwhelmingly immersive experience that will have you engulfed in the surreal.
In addition to his solo work, he has also earned acclaim for his work on film scores for films directed by the Safdie brothers and his collaborations with artists such as The Weeknd, Charli XCX, Iggy Pop, David Byrne, and Anohni.
And with “Tranquilizer,” which means sedative, he suggests a return to conscious creation/expression, rather than an escape into numbness.
