Tokyo-based post-internist and self-taught Italian visual artist, Andrea Samory, will proudly be featured at CONTRAST for his captivating solo exhibition, “Overgrowth”. 

This exhibition highlights the profound interplay between biology and the internet, shaping our daily existence in ways both remarkable and enigmatic. Andrea’s meticulously crafted artworks and captivating pieces, adorned with radiant and intricate biological patterns, transcend the boundaries of “body” and “self,” inviting you to embark on a journey of new perspectives and profound understanding.

“Overgrowth” will highlight Andrea’s expertise in 3D sculpting and 3D printing, seamlessly blending these techniques with the artistry of special effects and traditional sculpting. His art pieces evoke an emotional and powerful blend of fascination, reflection, estrangement, and recognition.
