“Roka Ongaku” which directly translates to “Hallway Music,” is an acoustic music event inspired by “hallway” settings that blends seamlessly into everyday life.

Based on the idea that hallways have served as junctions connecting different places and spaces where communication naturally arises, “Roka Ongaku” offers a new kind of music experience that can be enjoyed as an extension of daily life, letting acoustic music gently move the heart while visitors relax from everyday tension with a drink or light food in hand.

This event will be held at Azabudai Hills on Friday, January 30, and will be the second installment, building on the success and popularity of the first version held in October of 2025.

Performance will include VIDEOTAPEMUSIC, known for creating one-of-a-kind sounds by sampling various videotapes and producing visuals and music simultaneously, as well as jan and naomi, a duo consisting of Jan Urila Sas and naomi paris tokyo, who have toured across Asia and have also produced music for commercials. Along with them, a diverse lineup of artists will deliver performances throughout the event.

In addition to the performers, nearby dining venues such as Gallery & Restaurant Butaiura and Azabudai Hills Gallery Café provide drinks and light meals that can be enjoyed while listening to the music. This time, two additional venues, Sta. Azabudai and Tonkatsu Kawamura will also offer special menus.
