DIESEL ART GALLERY presents “Aesthetics,” a solo exhibition by artist Shohei Ochiai. Known for his energetic linework and sharp eye for the overlooked, Ochiai turns his attention to the ever-changing streets of Shibuya—capturing its quiet poetry amid the chaos.
Concept Shibuya is a city that is always busy and lively, where light and sound intersect busily. However, Ochiai’s works reveal another side of the city: the still air in narrow alleys, a glimpse of blue sky beyond the crowds, the unexpected calm that lives beneath the noise. His drawings and paintings transform these fleeting moments into rugged yet intimate portraits of an “alternate Shibuya,” shaped by his own aesthetic sensibility.
New works will be introduced throughout the exhibition period, alongside exclusive limited-edition merchandise and collaborative hoodies created with DIESEL.
