“Somewhere Between” Japan Tour Osaka

The fin. released their new album Somewhere Between, featuring 11 tracks, today on Wednesday, November 26. This marks their first full-length album in approximately four years since their third album, Outer Ego (2021). All lyrics, composition, recording, and mixing were handled by Yuto Uchino, with mastering by Joe Lambert and artwork by the Swedish design team M&E Design.

Somewhere Between explores the theme of the “transience” of memories and emotions, unfolding as the past self, present self, and future self intersect with one another. Layers of synthesizers, piano, saxophone, and faint, lingering guitar reverbs blend together to delicately portray the “shimmering moments” that exist between opposing sensations such as hope and loneliness, collapse and rebirth. The album evolves The fin.’s signature sense of floating ambience and intimacy into a more refined and sophisticated sound.

In conjunction with the album’s release, the band has announced the “Somewhere Between Tour 2026,” scheduled for March 2026. The tour will visit two cities—Tokyo and Osaka—and is expected to feature the first live performances of songs from the new album. The Tokyo show will take place on Thursday, March 19, at LIQUIDROOM, while the Osaka show will be held on Sunday, March 22 at Umeda Shangri-La. The performances will feature a full-band lineup including core members Yuto Uchino (Vocal, Synth) and Kaoru Nakazaka (Bass), along with support members Tomo Carter (Drums), Kazuya Takenouchi (Guitar), and Hinata Ishii (Sax, Synth). In addition, official advance ticket reservations began today, November 26, at 20:00.

Having completed their first full album in four years and set course for a new journey, The fin. sparks growing anticipation for how their ever-shifting story will be transformed into a lived experience through both the album and the tour.
