Clockwork creatures, glowing gadgets and fantastical oddities await at Sukoshi Fushigi Flea Market—Japan’s premier event for the wonderfully weird and wildly imaginative.

On Sunday, August 31, 2025, the Kawasaki City Industrial Promotion Hall transforms into a labyrinth of retro-futuristic delights, where steampunk inventors, sci-fi artists and fantasy storytellers converge for a single-day marketplace like no other.

Expect over 90 booths overflowing with original art, hand-forged accessories, speculative comics, android sculptures and more. Each crafted by independent creators. Whether you’re drawn to eerie machines, dreamy worlds, or simply want to browse creations you won’t find anywhere else, this event welcomes the curious and creative alike.

Organized by the Japan Steampunk Association, Sukoshi Fushigi Market is a celebration of “slightly mysterious” (スコシフシギ) culture. Admission is ¥500 (free for high schoolers and younger).
