Talents Tokyo is a human resources development program that provides participants from East and Southeast Asia who aspire to become film directors or producers with filmmaking know-how and networking opportunities. The Open Day of Talents Tokyo 2025 takes place on November 28, featuring the Open Presentation and Open Campus sessions, both open to the public.

During the week-long program, 17 emerging directors and producers (the talents) from East and Southeast Asia will engage in presentation training. Also, group discussions and receive feedback on their in-development feature-length projects from the film experts. On November 28, the talents will publicly present their projects at the Open Presentation session, which is eligible for the “Talents Tokyo
Award.” The Awards Ceremony will take place on the following day, November 29.

Following the Open Presentation, Talents Tokyo 2025 will host an Open Campus later that afternoon. On the theme “Directors’ View: Navigating Challenges and Sustaining Creativity in Filmmaking.” They invited director Ramon ZÜRCHER and director Mouly Surya as speakers. Directors will share insights on sustaining filmmaking as a long-term and continuous career. Additionally, ICHIYAMA Shozo, Chairperson of Talents Tokyo Organizing Committee will moderate the session.
