Tokyo Spring Music Festival 2024, one of the largest classical music festivals in Japan will be held from March 15 to April 21. Numerous free concerts will also take place in the Ueno area, which is the home of the festival.

The festival offers a variety of concert series, including the “Tokyo Spring Festival Wagner Series,” which presents one of Wagner’s operas in concert format every year. The “Tokyo Spring Festival Puccini Series” and the “Choral Arts Series” feature large orchestras and choirs. These include “Museum Concerts” held in art museums and museums brimming with a different charm than concert halls. “Tokyo Spring Festival for Kids” is specially for preschool children to high school students and “Music in the City of Cherry Blossoms” is a series of free mini-concerts that bring music to the streets with the cherry blossoms.

Over the past 20 years, it has nurtured a strong connection with the people of Ueno and it continues to enrich the arrival of spring in Tokyo with various musical sounds.
