Tokyo Streets is back at Gallery Conceal February 4–9, featuring the compelling work of 40 talented photographers. Building on the success from the last show the gallery is happy to announce the inclusion of well-known international photographers Kaitaro Kobayashi, Jeremy Perez-Cruz, Joaquin Pastor Genzor and Hugo Lee. They each bring their own unique style of street photography to the show!

The goal of Tokyo Streets is to highlight the myriad of different perspectives on Tokyo and Japan from local and international photographers, using film and digital cameras to bring their artistic visions to life. The show is not limited to Japan only–the Tokyo Streets Photography Exhibition is keen to see photography from around the world, this time including photographers based in New York, London and Spain. Explore each photographer’s unique viewpoint and gain insights into their creative processes by engaging with them in person at the gallery.

Photowalk:

On Friday 7th there will be a photo walk hosted by the participating photographers, around the gallery area in Shibuya.

Reception Party:

The reception party will be held on the evening of Saturday, February 8 from 7pm – 11pm featuring DJs playing soul, funk and hip-hop in the cafe/bar area.

February 4: Opening; from 11am – 8pm every day.

February 7: Photo walk; from 8pm until late.

February 8: Reception Party; 7pm – 11pm with DJs.
