Asia’s First DMC WORLD DJ CHAMPIONSHIP

For the first time in history, the world’s largest DJ competition, DMC WORLD DJ CHAMPIONSHIPS will be held in Asia, taking place in Japan. Established in 1985 in London, DMC has shaped the global DJ scene with the vision that “DJs are the central force of tomorrow’s music.”
Notable DJs who have emerged from DMC include Mix Master Mike of the Beastie Boys, A-Trak, DJ Craze, and artists like Hudson Mohawke and Cashmere Cat. Japan has been a strong competitor since 1990, producing champions like DJ KENTARO, DJ IZOH and DJ YUTO, DJ RENA, and DJ Matsunaga from Creepy Nuts.
Entries for the Japan championship are now open.

June: Online Preliminary (CLASSIC)
July: Online Preliminary (BATTLE FOR SUPREMACY / SCRATCH BATTLE / THE OPEN)
August 30: Japan Championship (WOMB LIVE in Shibuya)
October 10 – 12: World Championship (Venue TBA)
