Ginza’s stunning glass-brick Hermes building hosts a show asking you to reconsider the meaning of art itself. “An Exhibition Lost” is the work of British young gun Ryan Gander, who recently impressed visitors to the Yokohama Triennale. Consisting of pieces referencing landmark artworks and imagined artists, the show, says Gander, “aims to address the way exhibitions are remembered, misremembered, imagined, documented and romanticized through art history, hopefully activating the spectators to begin to imagine a future history of art.”
Maison Hermes, until Jan 29 (listing).
