Actress Ikue Masudo (Aibo) will be the “navigator” for a special program to mark the 40th anniversary of Earth Day. Masudo, 46, will talk about her environmental activism and experiences from attending the Earth Day 2008 event in Tokyo. The actress said she tries to live an eco-friendly lifestyle and eats at home 70-80 percent of the time, using ingredients she has made or grown herself. “I think the most important thing is we should get to know the truth about the state of the Earth’s environment and then think what we can do about it,” she said.
