Formed by a Finnish guitarist, a German drummer and a bassist from New York, Johnny La Marama are as mischievous as their name suggests. The group come to Aoyama in support of their album Fire!, an eclectic but inspired mishmash of free jazz, post-rock and electronica infused with a healthy dollop of humor. Joining the trio will be Takatsukasa Shinozaki, a potter who creates unusual ceramic musical instruments, and leftfield guitar genius/raconteur Katan Hiviya.
