Duo illustrator team VK Design is made up of Kansai-born Verdy and K.I.T.. While not household names, you’ve most likely seen their work plastered across signboards and walls across both cities—Tokyo and Osaka. This talented pair designed the official posters for Punkspring, Summer Sonic and Mad Ollie festivals this year. Those of you into the alternative music scene will have seen their creations drenched in sweat in the form of t-shirts and towels or in music shops as posters and CD covers. The artwork and creative design for bands such as Meaning, Secret 7 Line, Good 4 Nothing and Shank all have VK Designworks as a common denominator.
