Space exploration fans following the return of Japan’s Hayabusa from its mission to collect asteroid dust won’t want to miss this ongoing exhibition. A full-size model of the spacecraft is on show, along with a raft of objects documenting 100 years of Japanese space and flight programs. From its initial rush to catch up with the Wright Brothers—culminating in the country’s first powered flight in Yoyogi Park in 1910—to its current contributions to the International Space Station, Japan takes its airborne endeavors very seriously indeed.
