Adds precisely zilch to the legal suspense genre

In a plodding procedural that adds precisely zilch to the legal suspense genre, Kate Beckinsale plays a former big-time lawyer who took to booze and blew it all, including her marriage and custody rights for her young daughter. To gain reinstatement to the bar, she must take on the appeal of a woman who claims she was wrongly convicted of murder. But not all is what it seems, etc., etc. Well, it’s all just very fraught. I had a hard time staying awake. This bomb has failed to find a distributor in the UK, and went straight to the Lifetime channel in the USA. I have no idea why it’s being released here.  (90 min) Japanese title: Legend Mind
