Barring sudden tragedy, the Curse of Tutankhaman’s Tomb will have lifted and treasures buried with the young pharaoh will be on display in Tokyo by the time you read this. Under the direction of charismatic Egyptologist Zahi Hawass, the blockbuster exhibition “Tutankhaman and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs” has been breaking records worldwide since 2004. In addition to King Tut’s iconic golden mask, the show examines the mystery of his death at 19 using the latest CT scans and DNA analysis.
