Organizers “Billion Dollar Boys Club” and “Uncle Tommy”—and a few hundred of their friends—want you to chill out and enjoy a Sunday evening filled with house, hip-hop, soul, disco and all kinds of organic music ahead of the Sports Day holiday. Toward that end, they’ve invited Chicago house turntablist Jamie 3:26, who represents the latest in a long line of influential Windy City DJs. Jamie began playing at 14, and for the last two years has spun at the infamous Shelter party during Miami’s key Winter Music Conference. Trendy but chilled-out, the venue Tokyo Salon in Aoyama strikes just the right balance for the proceedings.
