Yokohama Restaurants Are Cooking Up a Storm in Celebration of Y150
By Metropolis
This popular Chinatown lunch spot is known for serving up quality Shanghai cuisine at affordable prices. In honor of Yokohama’s big event, Jogenro is doing itself one better. The special “Half and Half” lunchtime course goes for—you guessed it—just ¥1,500. The meal includes a nikomi stew of pork, soy sauce and spicy mustard; gyoza stuffed with shark fin; dim sum; and pickles. To round off the meal, there’s a nautical themed dessert of almond jelly with raspberry sauce, served in a boat-shaped glass dish. Jogenro also offers two separate limited-time course options: a lunch featuring shark fin (¥2,800) and a nine-dish dinner set highlighted by Peking duck (¥6,000).
