The 1,000-capacity Yebisu Garden Hall is a pretty ambitious venue for British postpunk revivalists Bloc Party, and at this writing tickets were still available for their gig. This time round sees the quartet purveying tracks off their new Four, an album that has frontman Kele Okereke and co. returning to the sinewy, guitar-based sound that defined their debut outing Silent Alarm. They may no longer be the 20-something darlings of eight years ago, but Bloc Party still command a loyal following in Japan—look for them to be back for one of the summer fests.
