Mark the stems and rims first

Having friends over to toast the New Year is great fun, but washing dishes with a hangover on January 1 isn’t. The problem is when you mix socializing with Moet, people tend to have one sip and lose track of their champagne flute. Every time they grab a fresh one, they add to your dish duty. Thankfully, Ukokor stops that before it happens with nicely designed glass markers (¥1,050 for sheet of nine). Just pop one of these on the stem or rim when you hand a guest their drink to make it special and easy to relocate. While such markers are nothing new, these have Japanese designs and the paper is made from stone, meaning they’re waterproof and reusable. You’ll never have to mark drinks with post-its and markers again. Available at select shops in Tokyo.
