The Broadway Musical Company returns to Japan after a three-year absence for an extended tour that includes numerous dates in the Kanto area. Under the direction of Bernard Marchais, the BMC has introduced thousands of Japanese to classics of 20th-century musical theater, including West Side Story, The Sound of Music and My Fair Lady. This fall’s tour presents more recent Broadway hits like Miss Saigon and Chicago, with a cast that includes graduates of the prestigious Berklee College of Music and Joffrey Ballet School.
