Zest Cantinas purport to bring the “rugged US Southwest” to Tokyo punters, via Southwest and Tex-Mex cuisine, and plenty of frozen margaritas. Regarding this chain of resto-bars spread over several central Tokyo locations, there is some good news and some bad news. The bad is that the Ebisu branch is closing down—but the good is that it’s marking the occasion with Ebisu Zest Last Night on June 1. From 7pm-midnight you can pay an incredible ¥2,000 for all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink, and even if you slosh up after midnight, you can still nab yourself two drinks for one crisp ¥1,000 bill. So tip your stetson in farewell.
