One of the hotter indie frontmen to come on the rock scene in recent years drops into town to deliver his first DJ set to Tokyo clubbers. Jonny Pierce is the blond, blue-eyed boy-man-god at the front of Brooklyn indie retro-rockers The Drums. He’s reportedly set to deliver his solo debut later this summer, and will no doubt be demoing some of the tracks in Shibuya. Pierce heads up the latest installment of Control, where he’ll be assisted by a slew of DJs including Tokyo Dandy, Unusual Club and HMS Control.
