French choreographer Marion Levy took her insomnia and transformed it into a dance piece. En Somme is her meditation on dreams and the different stages of sleep and features actor and comedian Denis Lavant, the lead in “Boy Meets Girl” and numerous other films. Playwright Fabrice Melquiot’s text provides a scientific twist to a hallucinogenic work of dance-theater that may leave the audience guessing whether they themselves are in fact dreaming or awake.
