What kind of life did the children of the Hosokawa clan live in the Edo period, more than 300 years ago?
The Eisei Bunko Museum, which inherited cultural artifacts, documents and works of art from the Hosokawa family, has various materials related to children, such as portraits, books, small kimonos, noh costumes and photographs and will be exhibiting them together for the first time at this exhibition.
An experience that parents and kids can enjoy together, this exhibition will explain the lifestyle of the daimyo family in an easy-to-understand manner for children and a free guidebook for elementary and junior high school students will also be available at the museum for students to take home and study in their free time.
