Oct 9 at 10:00 am - Dec 19 at 6:00 pm
This exhibition features approximately 170 works of Japonism and Art Nouveau from the collection of the Budapest Museum of Applied Arts, including masterpieces by Émile Gallé and Louis Comfort Tiffany. Also featured are ceramic works from the Zsolnay Factory and other renowned Hungarian workshops. These craftworks from the late 19th century to the early 20th century allow visitors to explore how Western artisans interpreted Japanese art and what influence Japanese art and craft has had on the West.
