Across the Sea: An Exhibition for Palestine and Ukraine

Sep 16, 2025 at 10:00am ~ Sep 21, 2025 at 9:00pm

From September 16th to 21st, 2025, Art Garden Kawasaki will host Across the Sea, an exhibition reflecting on the lives and struggles of people in Palestine and Ukraine.

Set in Kawasaki, a city known for its multicultural spirit and seaside winds, the exhibition invites visitors to pause and reflect on communities facing conflict far from Japan’s shores. The event is more than an art display—it’s a gathering that asks what solidarity can look like across cultures and borders.

Organized by Warm Home Palestine, with support from Tears for Palestine Sapporo, the exhibition also offers an opportunity for direct action. Visitors will be able to contribute donations for people currently living in Palestine and Ukraine.

The space will feature thoughtful installations and a program shaped by the voices of those advocating for peace. Whether you’re deeply engaged in global issues or simply curious to learn, this exhibition offers an intimate and urgent encounter with art and activism.
