“Dino Night Parade 2025” Returns to the Tokyo National Museum
Dec 25, 2025 at 12:00am ~ Dec 28, 2025 at 12:00am
The highly acclaimed “Dino Night Parade” will return to the Tokyo National Museum this winter! The immersive nighttime event blends art, science and Japanese craftsmanship, showcasing lifelike dinosaurs created with advanced robotics and design.
Visitors can expect a spectacular outdoor performance inspired by the “Hyakki Yagyo,” the traditional Japanese night parade of supernatural beings. Instead of ghosts and demons, life-size dinosaurs will roam under the winter sky, reimagined through motion technology and artistry.
For 2025, the experience has been upgraded, with about 20 dinosaur species set to appear — including Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, and Giganotosaurus. The DINO-A-LIVE technology, patented in 14 countries, blends mechanical suits with choreographed performances to bring the dinosaurs to life.
