Tokyo River Friends, a non-profit organization dedicated to cleaning Tokyo’s rivers, is holding an event at Edogawa river. They make volunteering productive as well as fun by including a picnic/ barbecue along the water as well as a chance to meet other like-minded volunteers.

If you are interested in contributing to this cause and making a positive environmental impact, join this upcoming river clean up event!

We will meet outside the only ticket gate of Myoden station go to the river and pick up trash on the Myoden side for about 3.5 to 4 hours with a break in the middle. If you come late, it will be about a 25-min. walk to our location under the bay front bridges (Rt. 357, Bayfront Highway, Keio Line train bridge). This event will not be cancelled in the case of rain (unless heavy winds or lightning).
