I’ve been hiding important things.
I’ve been telling lies to hide them.
I’ve been deceiving by telling lies.
I got tired of deceiving and ended up hiding.
All of these actions were driven by the necessity to protect myself.

Even if it was golden, it cannot shine in the darkness.
However, that doesn’t change the fact that it exists.
For example, even if it was in a closet.

In a world constructed without me,
Longing for sparkling days while being restricted from many actions.

In this solo exhibition ‘Forbidden Rose,’ I will depict the everyday lives of those who are living in a day where the rainbow does not shine.
